Microsoft Corp. executives have called the open-source software Linux a cancer. They've even described the increasingly popular operating system, an alternative to Microsoft's proprietary Windows, as un-American. But now they're hoping to attach a different word: costly. [continue]
Yeah, right. Linux is free and open source. Microsoft is trying to claim that users who choose Linux will somehow face extra costs later on. I don't believe this, and have yet to see any evidence that would support Microsoft's claim.
Sounds like sour grapes, doesn't it?
